Give staff permission to use Onvio Company Formations

Before you start

Your firm will need a licence that includes Onvio Company Formations.

Using permission groups 

You will need to use permission groups to grant your staff access to Onvio Company Formations.  

Before you decide on which permission group to use, make sure that you know how permission groups work together and understand the best practices for using them.

Use an existing or new permission group to grant access to Onvio Company Formations

  1. In Onvio Centre select Setup > Permission Groups from the menu bar.
  2. To use an existing permission group, select the name of the group, then Next. Alternatively, to use a new group, select Add from the toolbar, enter a Name and Description, then select Next.
  3. Select the Company Formations tab.
  4. Set the Register limited companies with Companies House permission to Enable, then select Next.
  5. Check that the Members list includes all staff who need access to Onvio Company Formations.
  6. To add members from the Available Users list, select the checkbox to the left of their name, then Add.
  7. To remove members from the Members list, select the checkbox to the left of their name, then Remove.
  8. When you've finished checking the Members list, select Done.

Check whether a staff member has access to Onvio Company Formations

  1. Go to Setup > Staff.
  2. Select Edit to the left of the staff member's name.
  3. Select the Onvio Access tab.
  4. Select the Company Formations tab.
  5. Check that the Register limited companies with Companies House permission is set to Enable.
