Compromised email and password
If your email and password have been involved in a data breach from any website, program, or service online, your Thomson Reuters Account credentials will be locked until you change your password.
We implemented this measure to help protect your account from anyone who may have knowledge of your compromised email and password.
How it works
If your credentials are involved in a data breach online, the following will happen:
- Your Thomson Reuters Account will be temporarily locked until you change your password.
- If you try to sign-in to your Thomson Reuters Account or Onvio Centre , you’ll see an error that your attempt was blocked.
- You’ll receive an email that explains what happened and offers a link to change your password. Select the link in the email to reset your password, then sign in.
